It's Gameweek 3, and the talk of the town is the postponed Chelsea vs United fixture. Brighton and Hove Albion vs Aston Villa
When is it on? Saturday 5th Oct, 12:30

This might be one of the most underrated match-ups of the weekend, as both mid-table teams battle it out for a crucial three points. Brighton have the home advantage, and judging by their performances so far this season, they pose a serious threat to this Villa side. Armed with attackers like Kiko Seike and Fran Kirby, Villa keeper D'Angelo will have to stay alert for every minute of this match. The Seagulls also faced Man City last weekend and only conceded one goal, and they're arguably on incredible form in comparison to last season.
On the flipside, there's a lot of potential for Villa to storm this fixture. They came back to draw with Tottenham at home last weekend, with shots from Rachel Daly and Adriana Leon finding the back of the net. Katie Robinson and Kirsty Hanson got on the scoresheet in their WSL cup fixture midweek, and it seems than the Villans are back to their scoring ways.
Man City vs West Ham

Admittedly, we're all expecting City to dominate this fixture. With Miedema, Shaw, Hemp, and Jess Park all starting recent fixtures, there's no reason not to expect lots of goals in this one.
However, we're not counting out West Ham anytime soon. Yes, they might have a leaky defence, but their attacking quality is always a threat. Riko Ueki's goal against Liverpool last week earned the Hammies an important point, and will have been a confidence boost going into this tough fixture. We've also not seen a lot of the new goalie, Polish international Kinga Szemik, so this game will be the perfect chance for her to deliver some show stopping saves. Could West Ham cause an upset?
Arsenal vs Everton
When is it on? Sunday 6th Oct, 14:00

Another home game for the Gunners at the Emirates means this one will be a tough one for an injury-riddled Everton side. Frida Maanum has already scored two goals in the WSL this season, and star striker Alessia Russo loves to find the back of the net in N5, so we're expecting some goals in this one. However, they'll have to get past Everton's Courtney Brosnan first.
Spurs vs Liverpool
When is it on? Sunday 6th Oct, 14:15
Where can I watch it? BBC Two
Tottenham are coming into this fixture third place in the WSL table, while Liverpool are currently sitting at seventh. Nevertheless, this fixture could go either way - after their draw against West Ham and midweek loss to United, Liverpool have a chip on their back, and will want to make use of the quality attack in their ranks. However, they're currently in a goalkeeping crisis, after Matt Beard revealed they'd be coming to North London with only one keeper.
For the home team, they've had 7 different players score 8 goals since the season started, and they don't look like they're stopping anytime soon. If Liverpool are shaky between the sticks, Spurs are going to capitalise. This fixture is a must-watch.
Leicester City vs Crystal Palace
When is it on? Sunday 6th Oct, 15:00
Where can I watch it? BBC Two
Crystal Palace have yet to establish themselves in the WSL, so could this be their week? Yes, they lost 7-0 at home to Chelsea in their last fixture. But their performance in that first half showed the potential they have to cause a serious upset at the Kingpower this weekend. In addition, Crystal Palace have the benefit of having many Visionary players, meaning this could be the key to getting ahead in your leagues. It'll be a tough fight though - Leicester had a strong defence against Arsenal last weekend, and with Jutta Rantala leading the front line, we can expect a lot of shots for Shae Yañez to save.
Whichever matches you're watching, this is sure to be an interesting weekend - enjoy, and good luck!
