The Scout is back for GW13 with your ultimate lineup cheat sheet. Whether you’re chasing top points or hunting for under-the-radar differentials, we’ve got the picks to help you outscore the competition. Let’s break it down.

Goalkeeper & Defence

Brosnan & Bott For the second week running, Everton have a tempting defensive fixture, at home to the division's lowest scorers, Leicester City. Courtney Brosnan is the home side's top points scorer this season and always attractive for her combination of save, bonus, and clean sheet points.

Meanwhile, Leicester's array of defenders eligible for visionary points is the ideal place to look for an edge at the back this week. All things considered, the best of the lot is probably CJ Bott. She has the most stable minutes and has picked up bonus points three times this season, including against the Toffees in the reverse fixture.

McLauchlan Five WSL starts in a row, playing 90 minutes each time—Rachel McLauchlan’s secure minutes are excellent news ahead of the visit of Crystal Palace this week. The Seagulls kept a clean sheet against the Eagles in October, and you'll want a piece of the home side's backline in case they repeat the trick. Three Brighton defenders got bonus points in that reverse fixture. Add her eligibility for visionary points, and McLauchlan could be your path to a huge score in GW 13.

Le Tissier A clean sheet and top bonus against Brighton last time marked a return to her best for the bonus points queen of Fantasy WSL, Maya Le Tissier. The upside on offer against Spurs in GW 13 is similar. The reverse fixture saw Le Tissier’s highest score of the season so far, an excellent 14-pointer. Don’t overthink this.

Charles Back-to-back starts in GWs 11 and 12 are your green light to get Niamh Charles for GW 13. A trip to Aston Villa is a tempting fixture for Chelsea’s stingy defence, and Charles offers plenty in attack—that could be huge, unique points given her ownership is under 5% at the time of writing. It's worth remembering what a brilliant, consistent fantasy asset Charles is. Last season, she claimed bonus points in 7 out of 11 gameweeks. Buy now before her price and ownership soar.

Midfielders

Toone The recent resurgence in form, plus a good matchup against Tottenham, makes Ella Toone an attractive pick for GW 13. Man United generally have little trouble scoring against Spurs, and Toone is a goal-scoring midfield asset—that’s an extra point for each one. Form, fixture, and ceiling all say yes.

Reiten It’s Chelsea’s top scorer in a fixture they’ve dominated in recent seasons. Guro Reiten is an easy pick for Aston Villa away in GW 13. Her usual fare of goals, assists, and set pieces could result in a haul this week; free-scoring Chelsea often win big against Villa.

Höbinger West Ham have proved a decent matchup for opposition midfielders this season, certainly enough to make Liverpool’s Marie Höbinger worth a look for GW 13. The Austrian is back from injury and notched up a start and an assist for Grace Fisk in a 5-0 FA Cup win against the Hammers midweek. She’s also mint on set pieces and good on bonus. One to at least consider.

Forwards

Terland (c) Following a quiet opening third to the season save one massive haul, Elisabeth Terland has developed into a fairly consistent yet somewhat underappreciated fantasy asset (6% ownership at the time of writing)—the ideal pick, in other words, for a tasty trip to Tottenham. Besides the unique points, it’s encouraging for GW 13 that the aforementioned massive early-season haul came in the reverse fixture—two goals assisted by Celin Bizet powered an excellent 13-pointer. Don’t rule out an encore this week.

James In a week where Arsenal and Manchester City play each other, the trip to Aston Villa presents an opportunity to steal a march on the competition by going Lauren James in GW 13. With half an hour plus the assist for Guro Reiten’s penalty on her return to WSL action against the Gunners last time, there’s just enough to say Chelsea’s top scorer last season has got her motor running. You won’t get many opportunities to pick up James at under 7% ownership—don’t let this one pass by.

Parris Secure minutes, a tasty fixture at home to bottom-side Crystal Palace, and low ownership (6%) firm up Nikita Parris as a leading forward option for GW 13. She’s also got a good, high ceiling, having collected more bonus points more often than any other Brighton player this season—eight in all, across four GWs. This could be a haul.
